3. Each one-act script must include at least two (2) characters, and include requirements for a minimal set.
4. Scripts must have running times of no less than 20 minutes and no more than 45 minutes.
5. There is no limit to the number of scripts from any playwright.  There is, however, a $10 per script entry fee.
6. All scripts are to be typewritten and firmly bound.  Three copies of each script must be submitted for consideration.
7. Scripts will be read blind.  Each script must, be accompanied by an application form, which includes the title of the script, the playwright’s name, address, telephone number, email address, and a signed release.  Application forms will be kept separate from the script.  Each copy of the script must contain a cover page, which will remain with the script and will include only the title and a brief synopsis.
8. Scripts cannot be acknowledged or returned unless accompanied by a self addressed envelope with sufficient postage.  For confirmation of receipt, include a self addressed stamped postcard.

10. The decisions of the judges are final.  BSCT reserves the right to produce the winning plays royalty free during the 2009-2010 or 2010-2011 seasons, to withhold production, and to modify cash awards as deemed necessary by the judges.
